A most enjoyable panel discussion with Hidayah Amin and Wong Souk Yee. We swapped stories and shared views about Singapore's present day socio-cultural architecture, the role of the writer, tensions between solitude and community and the importance of artistic integrity.
Big thanks to Ann and the Wee Kim Wee Centre (our genial hosts), Kirpal Singh for leading a great session, and everyone in the attentive and questioning audience.
